Vouching for a trading partner

Curious about the vouching process and how to vouch for another organization? You have come to the right place!

Vouching

There are two ways to verify a business to use the BOEX platform. The first is by completing the Customer verification and Business verification (KYC/KYB) process, where an organization and a user’s personal details are reviewed and approved for full access to the platform.

The second method is through vouching—a trust-based invitation that allows a verified Boex user to invite a known trading partner. When invited, vouched users can join by simply creating an account, bypassing the full verification process. However, this user’s access will be limited: they can only trade with the company that invited them, cannot initiate trades, and can only save draft trades (not send them). To unlock full functionality, vouched users can upgrade at any time by completing the full verification process (KYC/KYB) through their account homepage.

Vouching for an organization

Here’s how it works:

  1. Start a new trade

    • Navigate to “Create Bill of Exchange” on the platform.

  2. Add the organization

    • Enter the new partner's details and choose the “Vouch for this person and organization” option under trust confirmation.

Add new organisiation - General business information - Trust confirmation - Vouch for this person selected

  3. Send the invitation

    • Confirm their email, review the information, and click “Review and Initiate” to send the invitation.

Once invited, they’ll need to register by creating a username and password. After that, they’ll gain access to their vouched account.
