With Boex, accepting a trade is simple. You can review and sign a trade even if you do not yet have a Boex account. No login required.
Receiving a trade invitation
If you are the drawee (the party receiving the trade invitation), you will receive an email directing you to a webpage containing the full trade details from your counterparty.
The email will include two options:
Review and Sign Trade: This option allows you to review the trade details and complete your trade without Boex account creation.
Join Boex: This option allows you to create a Boex account. With a Boex account you will be able to track, communicate, and manage an unlimited number of trades all in one place. (Recommended)
Review the trade details
If you have chosen to select Review and sign trade, the trade summary page will be opened in your default browser.
Here, you should review:
Trade terms and payment details
Attached documents
Notify Parties
Enhancers linked to the trade
Note: You will be able to see the Notify Parties and Enhancers that the drawer has chosen to share with you
Take your time and make sure everything looks correct before proceeding.
Reviewing documents
Review the attached documents by clicking into each one. You will see two tabs, one is the reference document and the other is the digital document data. Please carefully consider each noting the digital data is the official record. If you notice any discrepancies, please contact the drawer using the comment feature.
Reviewing Notify Parties and Enhancers
Click on a Notify Party or Enhancer to see their details, what events they will be notified about, and what method of notification will be used.
Need changes to the trade? Leave a comment
If any details are incorrect, you can leave a comment directly on the trade.
Once submitted, the drawer (your counterparty) will be notified by email and can review your comments. At that point, they may make any required updates and send the trade back to you.
Ready to Accept? Sign the Trade
If everything looks correct, click Sign.
You will then be asked to type your name into the signature field. This acts as your digital signature.
Next, click Agree and execute.
Confirm Your Signature
For added security, Boex uses a second confirmation step.
You will receive an email asking you to confirm your digital signature. Open the email and click Confirm your signature.
This extra step helps verify your identity and protects the integrity of the trade.
Trade Successfully Accepted
Once confirmed, your signature is complete.
You will receive a confirmation email showing that you have signed the trade. The trade will then wait for the drawer (your counterparty) to complete their signature.
Check Trade Status
You can reopen the trade at any time to view its status. The green line at the top of the screen shows the stages that the trade is now Executed and accepted.
Congratulations
You have successfully completed your trade paperwork using Boex.
