Xero Integration Improvements
Boex now works even more smoothly with Xero.
When creating a Trade in Boex from imported Xero data, Boex will automatically create an invoice within Xero. This helps reduce manual work and keeps your accounting records up to date.
We’ve also improved how Boex handles invoices sent to Xero, including:
Clear notifications when an invoice is successfully created
Helpful messages if something goes wrong
More reliable reconnection if your Xero account becomes disconnected
Improved handling of tax rates and invoice data
Boex sends the most recent version of an invoice to Xero.
Inviting Organizations from Xero
When importing contacts from Xero, Boex will now:
Filter out contacts that are missing key information like a name or email
Allow you to edit the address of an organization when inviting them
This helps ensure invitations are sent correctly and to the right people.
Document Drafting Improvements
We’ve made several updates to make document creation smoother.
These include:
Adding your organization’s logo to documents
Improved editing and reviewing when drafting PDF documents
Better validation to prevent incorrect HS code formats
More consistent number formatting on document line items
Product code and name fields now follow clearer limits
Bank details on Trades are now optional.
Better Notifications
Boex will now notify you in the app and by email when an invoice is created in Xero or if something goes wrong. This helps you stay informed without needing to check manually.
Platform Improvements
We’ve made several usability improvements across the platform:
Clicking the Boex logo now returns you to the home page
Clearer tracking of who added Notify Parties or Enhancers
Document Ingestion Improvements
We’ve improved how Boex reads and extracts data from documents.
Updates include:
Better accuracy when capturing information from uploaded documents
A new tax summary section to clearly display tax amounts
The ability to mark containers as Full or Empty when ingesting Bills of Lading
System Maintenance
We’ve also completed routine platform maintenance and background improvements to keep Boex stable, secure, and performing well.
