Xero is a cloud-based accounting software platform designed mainly for small and medium-sized businesses.
Please Note: Only Xero account holders are able to use their services through Boex. Registering for an account is quick and easy and will benefit you in the long run if you are considering accounting support and services.
How Boex and Xero Work Together
Boex focuses on the trade side — creating, sharing, and managing digital trade documents such as Bills of Exchange, Commercial Invoices, and Purchase Orders, all within a legally recognized digital framework (like the UK’s ETDA 2023).
Xero, on the other hand, focuses on the accounting side — keeping track of your company’s financial records, payments, and cash flow.
Stage | Boex handles | Xero Handles |
Trade Setup | Create and issue digital trade documents (BoE, Invoice, PO, etc.) | The ability to create documents from importing data through Xero |
Execution | Track acceptance, negotiation, or payment terms | Records the trade value as accounts receivable/payable |
Payment | Confirms when a Bill or trade is settled | Reconciles the payment with your bank account |
Reporting | Stores digital records of the trade | Generates financial statements and tax summaries |
